2. Purpose and nature of the Service
isthiseuropean.eu is a free informational tool that displays publicly available information regarding the legal jurisdiction, country of domicile and corporate structure of entities operating websites on the internet.
The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute legal, financial, technological or any other type of advice. It does not issue value judgments, opinions, qualitative assessments or recommendations about the companies, products or services referenced.
Classifications offered by the Service (such as "EU/EEA", "Non-EU", "Associated" or equivalents) are factual descriptions based on the country of registered office of the parent entity, according to public sources. These classifications do not imply any judgment on the quality, security, reliability, legality or suitability of services provided by said entities.
Mention of third-party company names, brands, products or services is made exclusively for informational identification purposes, under the right of citation and informational use of trademarks in accordance with applicable law. isthiseuropean.eu is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or connected in any way with the referenced companies, unless expressly stated otherwise.
3. Data sources and accuracy
Information displayed by the Service comes from:
a) Curated database ("Curated"): information collected and manually verified by the isthiseuropean.eu team from public sources, including commercial registries, annual reports, corporate information published by companies on their websites, and public databases of legal entities.
b) Automated public sources ("Estimated"): information obtained automatically from publicly accessible databases, such as Wikidata, Tranco List, and other open sources. This information has not been manually verified and may contain inaccuracies.
isthiseuropean.eu does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or exhaustiveness of the information provided, whether from curated or estimated sources.
Any person or entity that considers that the information displayed about them is inaccurate may contact legal@secyda.eu. We commit to reviewing and, where appropriate, correcting or removing the information within a reasonable timeframe.
4. Use of the Service
Access to and use of the Service is free and does not require registration. By using the Service, the user accepts these Terms and Conditions.
The following is prohibited:
a) Using the Service or information obtained through it to defame, discredit or damage the reputation of persons or entities.
b) Presenting the Service's classifications as binding legal determinations or professional advice.
c) Massive automated use of the Service (scraping, bots) that exceeds reasonable usage limits.
d) Reproducing, redistributing or commercially exploiting the Service's database without express authorization.
5. Intellectual property
The design, source code, structure, compiled databases, original content and graphic elements of isthiseuropean.eu are the property of Secyda and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Third-party names, brands, logos and distinctive signs appearing in the Service are the property of their respective owners. Their appearance in isthiseuropean.eu is exclusively for informational identification purposes.
6. European Digital Sovereignty Report
isthiseuropean.eu periodically publishes an aggregated data report called the "European Digital Sovereignty Report". The Report is prepared from anonymous and aggregated data generated by use of the Service. No individual data point in the Report can be linked to a specific user.
The Report's statistics reflect exclusively the patterns of Service users and are not necessarily representative of the European population as a whole.
7. Links to third parties
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, including suggested European alternatives and the directory european-alternatives.eu. These links are provided exclusively for informational and convenience purposes.
isthiseuropean.eu is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected in any way with european-alternatives.eu, any European Union institution, the European Parliament, the European Commission or any other European, national or international public body. The use of the term "European" in the Service name refers to the geographical scope of the information provided, not to an institutional affiliation.
Inclusion of a link to an alternative service does not constitute a recommendation, endorsement or guarantee of said service.
8. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, without limitation, warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
Secyda shall not be liable, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, for inaccuracies, errors or omissions; decisions made by the user based on the Service's information; direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages; content, operation, availability or policies of linked third-party websites; or temporary interruptions due to maintenance, updates or force majeure.
9. Claims procedure
Any person or entity that considers the information displayed by the Service regarding their company, brand or services to be inaccurate, outdated, or harmful to their legitimate rights may submit a claim to legal@secyda.eu.
Secyda commits to acknowledging receipt within 5 business days and resolving the issue within a maximum of 15 business days from receipt of complete documentation.
10. Data protection

11. Modifications
Secyda reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after publication of modifications implies acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Severability
If any clause of these Terms is declared null, ineffective or unenforceable, such nullity shall not affect the validity of the remaining clauses.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute arising from the use of the Service, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts of the city of Valencia (Spain), with express waiver of any other forum, except where applicable law imposes a mandatory different forum in favor of the consumer.
